PASSION PROJECT

Bridging the Gap Between the Metaverse & Realworld, I Designed a hoodie to look fly in GTA Online and thought this needed to be in the real world too, so here we are #SURB.

What is SURB? The name comes from a combination of Suburban + Urban. Growing up as teens, my friends and I felt a disguised benefit to the neighborhood in which we lived. Paterson, NJ is a place of assorted neighborhoods within itself, some of which contradict each other in appearance, noise levels, and the behaviors of the people that occupy the space.

Often, the negative narrative seemed to overshadow the good within the city but depending on your mindset and maybe the block you called home, your opinion of Paterson might be hopeful contrary to popular belief. To truncate the long story, we saw our own suburb in the midst of the urban chaos that was a short walk within reach.
